It can be hard to leave home to go to school, but enrolling in a program such as this might be the best decision you made, as it not only gave you experienced being away from home without family for an extended period of time but as you mentioned, you have learned new skills, have a community that has your best interests at heart, and made friends before setting off in the fall. This, and how you now feel about your success at school, will definitely affect other young people in Colville Lake , and make them feel brave enough to ‘go out’ to go to school in the hope of coming back to do wonderful things for the community. You are an incredible role model!
You are the first student I met coming to CLS and your first question to me was about school and when and where you thought would be a good fit for you. And now you are standing at the door of this next step in your journey. I am so proud of you and so excited to see where your journey takes you.
